When we reached out to RFC activist parents to ask them to share their wisdom with us (see our survey results), we received an unexpected additional gift: statements of heartfelt gratitude for the RFC community. We do not operate in a vacuum, and we are so grateful for all of you who make our work possible. We’re honored to share some of these messages with you:
- “You gave me a gift that’s worth more than money, which is a smile on [my children’s] faces, and I couldn’t have done it without you. I really appreciate you…words can’t explain.”
- “The RFC has given my family and especially my children… hope in humanity. The help and assistance from the RFC feels like a lifeline being thrown to us after a shipwreck.”
- “The RFC has offered our family a layer of support that is immeasurable… we all experience the value of being taken care of by our activist community.”
- “The generous support from the RFC has made it more likely that our children will succeed in making this world a better place.” “When we got our first Rosenberg grant, I used it to take my 2 toddlers to see their dad in jail. They are now the oldest of 7, and last week I took our youngest (now 14) to march for Palestine. If not for the ongoing support of the RFC, our kids would have missed out on so much, both financially and in terms of solidarity.”
- “Organizations like the RFC are doing the revolutionary work of protecting, providing, and keeping our movements alive. We are so grateful!”
