Dear RFC Community,

President Biden’s inaction, without explanation, is disappointing, but we remain personally buoyed by the actions of thousands of you in support of our ongoing effort to have our mother, Ethel Rosenberg, exonerated. No American President has admitted that the Federal Government wrongfully executed anyone, so we had a steep hill to climb.

Despite Biden’s inaction, the release of the NSA’s chief decryptor’s definitive memo stating that our mother was not a spy, and its resultant publicity, has changed the historical record and the public’s perception of our mother. Maintaining the belief that Ethel Rosenberg was a guilty spy who deserved her punishment is no longer viable. We can’t adequately express the sense of inner peace and personal satisfaction this brings us.

This phase of our effort is over, but we are not giving up. We will continue to press the NSA to declassify their remaining documents pertaining to our mother’s case, and we will publicize what we uncover. We are eternally grateful for all of your support which has enabled us to maintain our quest for the truth for 50 years.
