From the Executive Director
Jennifer Meeropol is the granddaughter of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg and the daughter of RFC Founder, Robert Meeropol.  Jenn became the Executive Director of the RFC on September 1, 2013.  Prior posts on this page were written by Robert (unless otherwise noted), and represent his opinions, which are not necessarily shared by the RFC.
 
 

I’m spending a lot of time this summer going through what seems like mountains of material in preparation for my turning over the RFC’s Executive Director job to my daughter Jenn.  My last regular work-day in the office is August 31st. I want to have figured out by then what files Jenn will need for future reference, what should go home with me, what should be recycled, archived etc…

We’re still feeling the effects of lost sleep, but we’re also basking in the glow of the most dramatically successful program we’ve ever produced.  Sitting in the darkened theater Sunday afternoon watching such a challenging, one-and-only walk through of Carry it Forward, the evening’s program, I wondered if we hadn’t taken on more than we could handle.  This was our most ambitious theatrical undertaking.  We’d orchestrated at least one minimally staged scene before, but what we planned this time was much more
