As a result of the strike, he was threatened with deportation, told he would not be eligible for release and taunted by prison guards.
$1350 for internet access and a CIF award for two brothers, ages 17 and 19, whose father is an immigrants’ rights leader. He spent more than four years in sanctuary, dealing with threats and pressure from DHS and ICE officials, before finally being able to return home to his family while pursuing his fight against deportation.
$1200 for mental health support for the 17-year-old targeted activist youth who was bullied due to her leadership in the Black Lives Matter movement.
